Chip for 96 Explorer

I have just recently started towing a trailer (about 1000 lbs loaded) and am wondering if putting in a chip will help towing performance.

Anyone have thoughts that will help me out?

Yes, it will help all the way around. Loaded or unloaded. We can do a Diablo Sport chip (1 - 3 stages) or a Superchips Custom chip (1 - 5 stages). 1K isn't a terribly heavy load and the chip should making towing easier, especially during the shifts.
