I have a 90 F150 with 4.9l. Truck was running and driving then parked it for approx3-4 days now it wont start. Engine turns over, but wont fire. Was unable to hear fuel pump running, so I replaced fuel pump relay, didnt help. Have replaced coil, cap, rotor. A friend said it might be the computer, but how do you check to see?
Before you go digging into the pcm, I'd check to see what you DON'T have: Spark or fuel. Once you've narrowed those down, you can start back-tracking towards the electronics. Might check the TFI on the distributor, those have a nasty habit of going out.
