i want to buy a bronco from a friend with a 93 351 windsor from a mustang and it runs now and then but wont get enough fuel to the engine. they replaced all fuel components but the pump and a mechanic said it was a crank case sensor or something. any ideas?
I don't think any 1993 Mustangs came with a 351 Windsor engine.
If the engine is not getting enough fuel, I would check the pump first. Put a pressure gauge on the fuel rail and turn the key on to see if the pump builds up 40 psi in the 2 seconds that it comes on. If so, does the pressure drop quickly?
hey if the fuel has good presure ,it could be the crank shaft sencer i had one go bad on a explorer and a f150 302. I slaped a new one on in about less then 20mins and it started right up but good luck
