Advice on 5.4 upgrades

Just wanted some advice on performance upgrades on my 5.4. Right now I have nothing on my 99' 5.4. Heres some things I'm looking at and was wondering if there worth the money or if there are better alternatives. First I want to get the exhaust done and need to know about mufflers. I was looking at getting a flowmaster either 40 or 50 series, I want a deep rumble (no cackling), which is right, which one do I need to go 1 in 2 out? Then I want to go to air coming in. looking at a Granatelli MAF, K&N system and throttle body spacer. Any alternatives you would suggest compared to the K&N system? What about the 75mm throttle bodies I see advertised? Is a throttle body spacer worth the $80? Is the MAF worth $350? Then I want to do something with the computer system, and I have no Idea what to get here. How about custom hoods? I tow my pulling tractor and trailer weighing around a total of #10000, I have 3:73's in the rear with 17" tires. I'd like be able to compete with or better then my buddies 6.0 chevy, is this possible? Sorry for the long post, just want to do it right!!!!

Towing 10,000 lbs is more than a '99 is rated to tow. You might wanna think about upgrading to an F250. Be careful towing that much!

My last truck with a 4.6L did get some noticible power from a hypertech chip and exhaust, mostly in the upper RPM's. I have yet to mod my 5.4L though!
