Why won't my explorer sell
The 2 door Explorer isn't as popular as the 4 door and on a 4 year old truck chances are you owe more than the truck is worth.
Private party sale price is $9,053, assumming standard equipment, clean condition and average mileage. Also, the auto market is slowing down right now.

Why won't my explorer sell
Yeah, 2-doors are peculiar that way. I had a '92 that didn't garner much interest in the paper, but did with a for sale sign in the window parked in the street. The main reasons these are slower movers are, like Ken said, the two doors and also the 5 speed. Be patient, it just takes the right person to want it.
