'96 Full Size Bronco HELP needed

'96 Full Size Bronco HELP needed

Hello Everyone,
I am new to this site, but need help in a project '96 Eddie Bauer Full Size Bronco (clean VIRGIN Body from FLA.). I have taken the 351 out and wish to put in a '79 460 w/C6 that I have . I was told it will bolt up with c6 , I have motor mounts, but do not know the correct way to hoop up wiring ?? the 351 was EFI, I unpluged everything, NOT CUT.... and the 460 is carborated. The 460 has stock intake and wish to put BETTER intake on ( I have a Holley 650 - single feed - carb. to put on ) Will an edelbrock intake work ?? or what suggestions do you have for a GOOD intake to put on for POWER / performance value. I am building the truck for personal use, NOT drag / Mudding. I would drive it on street as well as off road ( if situation came up ) . The 460 is stock - rebuilt to original with many new parts, pistons / valves were NOT changed - in Great shape. I want to upgrade the carb/intake first, get it installed and hooked up, and go from there.....Any Help - I am stuck on which intake to get now ?? - would be GREAT !! Hope I find a Bronco enthusiest out there to help, I have Loved the Bronco sense I was a Teen, Now I have a chance to build the LAST of the Bronco's !!

a 460 is a great motor but if ur not going to really use the extra power then y take the 351 out? i am not trying to down ur idea i only wish i could get my hands on a 460 and had the know how to rebuild and install it

so whats happening to ur maf computer and sensor now?

Check out the 385 series engine forum and do a search, I'm sure you will find what your looking for as far as performance.

Pleas let us know how it goes and take some pics!

I will say that if you have smog inspection were you live then you will fail because of that motor regardless of how it runs. being a 96 with MAF you can get alot of power out of it and keep good road manners to.
if you do go this route, L&L products sells mounts and headers that would be a good power increase.

Hi, Well the 351 has 130,000 miles and I have a fresh 460 and BIG ideas for Lift on this bronco, I had a '79 that I put a 460 in (many years ago) and LOVED the POWER !!....

Hello, I live in Michigan, NO smog inspection, I have a '91 now ( 302 stock ) with headers 6" lift 35 tires that I was going to put the 460 in, (Mich. Truck and RUSTED !!) then I found the '96 that was super clean. L&L, good I will check with them, Thanks,.......Bill

so parting the 351? what im trying to get at is im wondering if ur selling MAF computer and sensor? i am thinking of converting a mustang but one with all the pins in the right place would be easier
