Arrow lowboy??!Needs springs..

I have a 79 250 4x4, the leaf packs are few, and sagging. Id like to get a set of stock oem springs for my truck from a 76 , or so. I have been told these are what makes them an unofficial name of "Highboy" Does anyone know where I can find such a set? I dont want to change out brake lines, pittman arm/ things that go on with a lift, and the 31s look tiny on my truck, but 34s look like too much. Thanks!

They will fit & if there in good shape they will give you 2" of lift.

76 springs are 2 1/4 inches wide. I believe you'd have to re-weld your spring perches to fit them. The front would need to be lifted 2 inches after that.

ok, I just checked, they measured at three inches wide in the front, the rear looked the same. a neighbors truck measured the same width but the arch was better up, also he only had two leafs in front like mine.... im kinda lost now..

I was speaking of "Rear" springs. Yes, "Front" is a direct swap.
