I was reading the one post about being loyal to Fords but couldnt find it again to post what i want to say. Let me tell you, i am 17 years old and just bought my 6th Ford pickup. sure i would own a ch*vy or dodge, if someone gave it to me. i got my first Ford when i was 15, a '79 F-150 SuperCab for $500 and never stopped since. latest Ford is a 1971 F-100 Explorer 4x4 with a 300 Six and 4 speed. 82,000 orig miles. i traded my '96 Eddie Bauer F-150 for it. everyone says i'm nuts, i say i'm in love. anyway FORD 100%!
PS- i paid the same for the F-150 as the guy was asking for the F-100

Good Trade I think.I`d liked to find a 70 to 79 pickup body for my 87 250 but I dont think it would fit. Tony
i love the oldies, course i am an oldie! trucks were made out of metal back then, and they are so easy to work on! course my 97 cc is a little more comfortable for long drives, but i have driven my 60 on longer drives!
I've always owned Fords (cars and trucks) and have been a loyal, happy customer, but for the quiz/vote above, I'd definately take the brand new Chevy truck, as I could turn it around for a pretty penny, and get several used ford trucks for that money
im not really brand loyal but i dont think dodge has quality and im not a big fan of gm and imports are to complicated even for most shops around here
but how can anyone resist option No. 4 , ANY car think of the possibilities i mean could be anything H1 to an exotic i love my last two fords but i dont think they are the best vehicles ever made.... just the best for reality!!!!!!! i know i cant afford a $3000 ferrari oil change!!
Fords then GM but never dodge. I once worked at an auto auction and had the oppurtunity to drive a lot of different cars and trucks and I can honestly say "I will never buy a dodge".
6th in 4 years? I'm on my second Ford in 25 years. I become attached to my vehicles so I tend to keep them forever. My affection towards my vehicle far outstrips my affection toward people. I can trust my truck more than I trust a mere human.
Any vehicle you want, but not a Ford. Man I would take new Jeep Rubicon over any vehicle so far. If I was spending my money I would buy a Ford truck, but not any thing newer that a 96 unless it was a 3/4 ton and up.

Agreed!
I'd buy two more GEN 1 Lightnings in black and red. Then I would have all three colors.

Yeah. They lost me when they went to torsion bars.
I'd definetly go with the 70s Ford!! I currently own 4 of them. I think the 73-79s were the best trucks ever made. You just can't beat that body style!

Me to my friend. The TTB was not the greatest, but serviceable. They figured people would pay the extra $ for the solid front axle. So you have to got the next level of truck.
