Advice on headers...

DOUG THORLEY PART# 6373, 68-79 FORD ECONOLINE VAN, WITH 240-300 MOTOR. THEY HAVE A 1 5/8 TUBE AND A 2 1/2 INCH COLLECTOR.
Would these fit an 84 Ford 2wd w/ a 300 and no air?

I dont believe they will. I would stay away from heddman they are crap I will never buy them again. I would look at a van and see what the differences are. I think the fire wall is different and the cross members are different. Im not quite sure but thats my 2 cents I hope I helped in some way. But be sure to stay away from heddman just a warning.

I'd take just about anything to get a little more power. I don't want to waste money though. Thanks

Hedders, by themselves won't do that much for you - really, hedders don't do much below 3000-3500 rpm and work best to 4000+ rpm. For the money, You would be better off looking at a new cam. Also, look into a better intake manifold & carb, EFI exhaust manifolds, maybe a 2.5" exhaust & turbo muffler.

I ultimately just want some cheap HP. punch the cat, maybe 2.5" single exhaust w/ muffler, etc.
