Don't like Dallas. Won't watch a game they are playing in. Was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooTickled when the Cards knocked them out of the play offs years ago. Haven't stopped yellin over that one..........I've got my fingers crossed that the Cards will at least do something this year other than lose. But, I am more partial to Redskins and 49'ers. Haven't been able to catch any games yet to see how any of the teams are doing because Dad is a Nascar-holic and watches nothing but speed channel. Oh well.
My favorite team is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. My favorite player is Vinny Testaverde. I remember when Vinny played for the Bucs, I wish they never got rid of him.
I root for the Colts and the Rams...but I'd prefer to watch auto racing. That's where the real athletes are, risking their lives for alot less money, for a longer period of time, and not whining about it.
This will probably be the last year with Farve and so I will enjoy watching them no matter the record.
Favre, not Farve, will be around for another 2-3 years. Probably 2 years. There is a sense of urgency because of Favre's age much like John Elway's Broncos in the late 1990s. John Elway was my favorite player of all-time and Brett Favre is my second favorite all-time. Favre is the last of the gun slingers and the Packers have a good shot and should have been in the title game last year had the defense not choked for an overrated Donovan McNabb's 4th & 26 completion. No excuse and the sad thing is that the Packers really did not build up their defense in the off season. I also think Mike Sherman is not the man to lead them to the promise land. I still think the offense is good enough to carry the team like it has over the past 3 or 4 seasons. The NFC North has toughed up a bit but I still think it belongs to Favre and the Packers. I'm pulling for the Broncos & Packers as I do every year.
On paper it looks like Philadelphia is the team to beat but I am so sick and tired of everyone blowing up Donovan McNabb up. Don't get me wrong he's alright but not nearly as good as everyone puts him out to be. If you can have your 3rd string quarterback put up a better record than the star quarterback that speaks volumes about the team surrounding McNabb. I hope they lose again but this time to Favre and the Packers.
[QUOTE=Timothy509]Motor sports pale in comparison to football.
You're certainly entitled to your own opinion, as I am to mine. I strongly disagree with you for a multitude of reasons, but this isn't the place to go into that.
BTW...You didn't mention what team(s) you root for (unless I missed a previous post...)

I was just saying that I don't like motor sports...
