ECU Chip

Does anybody know if there are and ECU chips out for the 5.4 L. a website with specs and performance help would be good. thanks people.

there are no chips, the computer is sealed and there is no port like before. will have to get a tuner, check out motorhaven's site, they have specs on the tuner.

04 F150 lariat ECU location??

Aloha Folks,

I am having a heck of a time finding my ECU. 2004 f150 lariat 5.4 liter 4x4 super crew cab.

It was flooded up to the seats and middle consul. It has a 6 inch lift so the water didnt get in the fluids.

Electrical is working also, but it wont turn over. Changed the starter but still nothing. Bypass the electrical and it will turn over but won't run.

Im thinking the ECU is wet or shorted?

Any professional opinions would be appreciated along with the location of the ECU (Computer Module)
