Sorry guys, I did not mean to start a war . I just loaded the
Predator a couple hours ago. I loaded the Tow mode !. The beast
came to life just in this setting. The a/c works great, no flashing in the
t/h mode, the shifting of the tranny is firmer, it does "gear down" firmer
in the t/h mode. I have only driven it twice on a cold start up. I am
towing my TT tomorrow. I will take it easy until the tranny learns the
new settings. At this point I am , , and HEEEHA!
My truck has always ran good even though the PI is not there.
I will post again after my short camping trip. !!!!!!!!!!!!
I am doing that now. About every 2 hours, I am going for a 5 mile jog.
I am driving the "Beast" to work today for a couple of more jogs.
Have I been missing out on alot !
There IS one real problem with the Predator use that I best warn you about now..
you'll hate to go back to stock for ANYTHING - even basic maintanance at the dealer
with the new r34f release, yesterday I decided to load the 100hp mode (I typically run the 65hp 99.99% of the time)
and now it's raining so I NEED to go back to the 65hp mode... the 100 is too strong... and the fuel mileage is crashing down !!! I am NEVER a fuel mileage gestapo, but typically around town my overhead hovers areound 16 to 17... the last day or so it's hovered around 11
it's fun to REALLY smoke those silly boys with their windows down and radios thumping... but don't know if I can afford it very much longer

Just a quick question, I have read that the SC is shifting hard under light acceleration....does the Predator do this also.....or does it shift more like the stock program. Tim

When you read something like that keep in mind what is firm to you could be hard to me...or even mild to some, it is a matter of how you think it feels
Yep all about perceptions....
my perception is that at light throttle the predator shifts fine....
when I first crank up in the morning and go too quickly it will chirp the tires with the right throttle play, but that only happens if I WANT it to happen....

It shifts "normal" under light acceleration. Not at first. It takes about 5 starts for it to learn. After that it is normal under light pedal.
