Upper Ball Joint Removal -help
Hello,
I need help removing the front driver side ball upper ball joint.
I have a 1987 Ranger, 2.9, 4x4.
The upper ball joint shaft broke when I was trying to take it off, and now the shaft is stuck. I've tried heat, penatrating oil brute strength! The lower ball joint is now loose but I just can't get the upper one loose. Anybody have any ideas.

I believe I understand your problem. Strike the side of the of the knuckle where the taper goes thru with a medium weight hammer this should loosen the taper and it
should come out. Your going to have to give it some sharp raps with the hammer.
