Headers for 400 cu in
I have looked at all the parts suppliers in my area as weel as --- truck cat. and am not finding a set of headers for my 400 79 s/c 2wd C/S They all say that they will not fit because of the front sway bar??? Anyone have any info on this?? Thanks, Gord

Years ago I rebuilt a 400 in a 78 f150 2wd. I purchased headers via the local parts store. The brand name was Coyote. Not sure if they are still around, but I would be shocked if you were unable to find any. I remember that they were not easy to put in. If I remember right one side went in from the top the other from the bottom. THey sounded awesome backed by glasspacks. Nice smooth throaty sound. Plus the power and mileage improved.
