Hey fellas,
New to the game here, but got a quick question for you. Anyone have experience lifting mid 90's 350's? I just lifted my 94 C350 centurion 4 inches and added 35 inch tires. I now have a serious driveline vibration at 60 mph under no load. Almost positive its the slip yoke on back of t case cause it slipped out a couple inches from the lift and I can wiggle it up and down. Just wondering if anyone experienced the same thing with their lift, and how the fixed it. Gonna try new slip yoke first, but i am afraid i need a longer drive shaft so the slip yoke will fit back into the tcase where its supposed to be, any help would be greatly appreciated
More than likely the u-joint angles are now unequal. They must be equal at the rear pinion and transfer case output. Or if you have a CV joint at the transfer case then the rear pinion angle should be near zero. You can measure them pretty accurately with a dial protractor such as one purchased at sears.

I put a 4 inch lift in my F250, I added one inch of length to the drive shaft. Do you have a carrier bearing? It could be what MJB1962 said drive line angle. How far does the slip yoke go into the transfercase? When you compress the suspension in the rear the slip yoke gets further away from the transfercase. First think I would do is check for worn UJoints. Put the truck in nuetral. Also take the drive shaft off of the rearend and turn it 180 degrees and rebolt it up.

Ok, thanks guys. there is no carrier on this truck only point of give is at this yoke which slides into tcase aprox. 3in, used to be 4 before the lift. Interesting about ujoint angles, never heard that before but sounds logical and important. U joints are in good shape however if i pull the driveshaft no point in not replacing them. Thanks so much for the help, might be a day or two before i can get you any results
