Question Arm rest mounting

I would like to use the production arm rest mounting clips ( I'm not sure if thats what they are called) that the factory used on my lift side, but install them on the right side.

I bought new arm rests and the mounting kit, but the kit consists of four sheet metal screws

Anybody know where I can get a pair? I would like to install them before I paint.

Thanks, Chuck

Merc,

Any chance of posting a picture or two of the clips? I just may have some thrown in my "assorted" can of nuts, bolts and miscellaneous stuff.

Chuck, the assembly and illustration book shows a, "Clip-Arm Rest" with old part number BA 7024146-A. I have a collection of j-clips you are welcome to go through. The biggest ones would measure 1/2" from the edge of the rectangular hole to the center of the screw hole.

Joe,

Thanks for the offer I'll give you a call and set up a time, but I can't do it for a couple of days I am helping a friend install new wheel wells and floor in his Modal A sedan (street rod 302/AOD/8 inch).

If the clips are like the ones on my 56 they are placed in a rectangular shaped hole. The hole is taller than it is wide.
