My XLT 4/by came thru with Generals, but I had the dealer swap them with Michelin's on another new 04 XLT on their lot. Just felt Michelin's are better tires.

I LOVE the Michelins they work great on my truck in the rain they are super and at the beach they are not to bad. Just hate the 17" size hard to find load rated tires in 17's.
Had the 16" load range E General's on my 02 250 and they lasted till 45'000 miles, on my 03 150 it had the General americtrack and they were JUNK....

orangebanzai: I have a reg. cab 4x4 F-150 flareside and have noticed very little wheel hop thogh I have not been on many gravel washboard roads yet. I have noticed better traction in 2wd than I expected. And yes the space is nice, i can put my lunch box cooler behind the seat, a set of waders, fly fishing gear and a backpack full of clothes for a good fishing trip. Just yesterday on the way home I stopped and bought several bottles of wine for gifts and such and fit the whole case behind my seat. Lots of room.

I go to south Texas a lot and on long warshboard roads it walks a little but not bad, ( some times I drive a little fast) I LOVE the extra room behind the seats. I keep so much crap back there some times I cant find what I an looking for. I had slime put in my tires, plan on doing a lot of dove and deer hunting this year and sold my jeep so I dont want any flats in the brush.
