I am new to this board and I am looking for some help figuring out which to get. We don't tow, but we are on the highway alot. For the Exped is the Diablo Chip better than the Superchips 1715? Does Diablo have a programmer coming out for the 03 Exedition? Thanks.

 

No, Diablo does not have one coming out, not as far as I've been told. Right now there are no options for you. The 2003 Expedition has a sealed computer and will not work with a chip. A tuner must be used and currently there is no tuner support for 03 Expeditions.

 

I don't understand on the superchips web site it gives performance increase values for the 2003 Expedition using the 1715.

I'm sorry, was fat fingering that post. Yes, the Superchips Microtuner will support it. Its a recent addition... I've been saying for nearly 2 years that there was no support for it that when there finally was I typed based on habit. Apologies...
