New guy saying hello
Thought I would introduce myself.
My name's Kris, And my trade I am currently an EMT in Northern California. In my previous life i was a German mechanic at a performance shop and got to spend other people's money and play with their cars. It was alot of fun.
Now, always owning German cars I was swayed by many of my friends to believe that Ford was crap and i should never buy one.....fast forward to 2003: I needed a truck, and fast. The purchase: A 1982 Ford F150 with 91k on the clock. It was impressive, hauled anything, always started and was tough. About 2 months later I was given an 1982 Ford E303 Ambulance (Looks like a box van, but it weighs 11,000 LBS) with a 7.2 monster engine. I was hooked on Ford's since then. The Ambulance is a constant project and i have currently sank about 6 months in getting the silly thing to work.
My newest purchase was an 91 Ford Taures Wagon. Great commuter car and easy to drive. Needless to say I am a Ford Convert and will hopefully drive them for a long time. Thanks in advance to everyone that will be helping me
