For all you cat lovers out there: do any of you have a cat that can do cool "tricks"?
One of my cats likes to play fetch. I will throw her ball and she will bring it back and drop it in front of me. After about 10 times she gets tired/bored and will bring her ball back and lay on it!

P.S. No cat haters allowed in her to bash cats. They have their place.
Geeze, are sure you aren't talking about my cat?? I have one that will do the EXACT same thing Except, she has the bad habit of hiding her *****, in places we cannot find them. Once she lined 5 or 6 of them up in a row under the couch, and after she saw we found them, she now takes them somewhere in the bedroom. That cat has at least a dozen of her ***** hidden around our house in places we can't find them!
my brother's cat's favorite trick is to scratch me on the back of the neck and then hide under the bed.
i like cats, but man, this one just doesn't like me!
I think the best trick my cat does is climb up on the back of the couch and wait for my dog to come around the corner. It is funny to watch. If you call him while he is there (in stealth mode)he looks at you as if to say Shhh. When the dog comes around the corner the cat leaps on his back and rides him (at about 90mph) down the hall!
We have four cats. Two of them will stand up like meercats. It's pretty cool to watch. Especially when they look over the half door to the kitchen to meow at the dogs.
I can roll a ball across the floor to my cat and he will bat it back. He'll get bored with that after 5 min. He likes to play tug a war with a towel too. He plays rough and doesn't know how to be nice to other animals. Came home yesterday and he was walking down the driveway with a dead stray cat in his mouth. He was so proud.
My one cat likes to play fetch with a stick. She gets bored after a few throws though too.
My other cat likes face-butting people. If you hold your hand out at waist level he will stand/jump on his back legs to butt his face against your hand. He even does this to strangers walking down the street. Yeah he's a bit friendly
He also likes to go on walks with me. The problem is that after a half block or so he gets tired and lays in the middle of the street because he knows I will go pick him up.
So then we have to turn around and go and lock him in the house
My cats have these awesome tricks where they just lay there, and dont interact with anyone unless they feel it will be to their advantage. Oh, they also eat a lot, sleep too much, and expect to be pampered. Anyone else?
My cat, which is totally declawed, will, on command, jump up to me or my wife to our chests where we have to catch him. He doesn't always do it, but it's kind of neat when he does.
my current cat is lazy and does nothing but rome the neighborhood and eat and sleep but we had a cat that figured out he could get in the house if he sat in this one spot all the time but all he really did was ring the doorbell so he did that everytim he wanted in, and then we hada cat that was huge and he turned the lights on and off w/ his paw but that was a loong time ago
My 2 cat don't really do any "tricks" - they've just figured out how to do things that annoy me from time to time.
The big cat can actually open the front screen door to the house. He jumps up and pushes the handle, the door opens and out he goes. He's an indoor cat though, so once he gets out onto the front lawn or driveway, he freezes and I just go out and bring him back inside. Now I just lock the screen door - he jumps up and kind of bounces off the handle.
My little cat can open cupboard doors. She opens them and climbs inside. Funny thing is, she can never figure out how to open the cupboard doors again once she's inside. Gets "locked" inside a cupboard and cries. Seems to me it is alot harder to actually lay down and force a door open from the outside then it would be to push against a door from the inside....but oh well. Now I just have child-proof locks on all my cupboards. But that doesn't stop her from trying....every now and then I can hear the cupboard doors opening about 1 inch or so then slamming closed - sometimes that goes on until I shout at her to stop.
So those are my amazying cat tricks from my two amayzing cats. Oh, the big one also likes to chace the mouse around on the computer monitor, watch tv whenever there are animals on the Discovery Channel and play with the cord to my PS2 controller whenever I am playing hockey or baseball online...always manages to unplug the controler at just "wrong" moment

I have 2 of the most unusual cats you ever seen...One is a Oriental Short Hair..all white named "Powder" (after the movie) because he is such a freaky looking thing but I adore him.. Sinjin pats his chest and Powder will jump up into his arms... pretty funny but not when your not expecting it.. he talks back too.. Also knows how to open the cupboards in the kitchen and his jumping range is amazing. he will get on the tops of the doors and just hang out.
My other cat is a "Munchkin" try to imagine a wiener cat.. normal body but 2 inch long legs... Ok so we are freaks her name is "Baby Baby Baby" but she also has a stance like a meer cat
Well, this is more a trick my cat taught me. She likes to drink out of the bathroom sink, and started knocking my cup off of the cupholder when she is thirsty. I've since bought a new cupholder and put it out of her reach -- there's an empty plastic bottle she can knock down now.
Come to think of it, there is a trick I somehow taught her. When I clean out the litter box, that's now a signal that she should try and use it...
My cat loves to play fetch. She has a few favorite hiding places for the sponge ***** and when she feels like playing she will go get one and drop it at my feet. She will also bat it back to me at short distances.
