My mother in law has a yellow 93 ford mustang LX 5.0 convertible. It has an automatic transmission, black leather interior, premium sound system, cruise control, power windows, door locks and seats. It also has a lighted rear spoiler, and chrome pony rims. The car is rarely driven, and is in brand new original condition right down to the tires. There are only 23,000 original miles on the odometor, and has been garaged the entire time. It has never seen rain and certainly never been hot rodded. This car is in outstanding condition, and is bone stock from the factory. Do you think this car is worth 12,000 dollars? Replys are appreciated.
Guys, I know what it is worth retail, and private. I was wondering what you think it might go for on ebay. She wants to get rid of it, and asked if I could help her. I know what she wants, but I am not sure if she will get it. I know nothing is guaranteed, I wanted to know what fordmen thought. It is worth around 7900 retail.
First, eBay is definitely the place for it. You'll get more for it there than just about anywhere else. Second, what's it worth? WHATEVER SOMEONE IS WILLING TO PAY FOR IT. Miles and condition sound great, but you have to find the right buyer for yellow; if it was red, she'd sell it in an instant. The color limits the appeal, especially if it's the shade of yellow I THINK it is......
Unfortunately, we can't easily provide you with a value. We are unable to view the vehicle in person, don't know anything about it. The users gave you resources to find the value of the vehicle, which is all that FTE can provide in this situation...
Just different locations would change the price. A vehicle in MA vs a vehicle in CA...would have a different value. The only other thing you can do is look for other vehicles for sale that are similar to yours which are in your area...see what they're going for and what they compair in condition. That should be pleanty to get you started....
