anyways, I am gonna try to get my (88' Bronco Eddie Bauer 5.8 efi C6 )running again.
the problem is I took it to autozone to replace the starter soliniod (sorry for spelling). It ran just fine, then I shut the truck off, and then restarted it 15 mins later it was fine, after I purchased the new soliniod and put it on, there was no power to anything not the headlights, interior, NOTHING.. grr..
i then put the old one back on and still nothing.
so I gave up for a long time, and bought a 2000 Ford Taurus SEL with 23000 miles on it.
I need to get it running before the winter time and do any of you have any kind of clue to as what happened? if I put a screwdriver on the solinoid, it turns the motor.

Please excuse my ignorance of the technical words. The same thing happened to me when I replaced my solenoid. The headlights or interior wouldnt work. Turned out to be a little wire that went to one of the two little prongs on the front of the solenoid. Not the big ones on the side that hook to the battery. The wire has a little o-ring on the end of it. Maybe this is too simplistic, but its always the simple things isnt it?
alright, I couldn't figure out how to post a pic on here so..
I counted 4 fusable links + that one wire on the top that the positive and ground, for a total of 7 wires..
I added it to the last page of my cardomain site. (page 9) http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/594526
again,
thanks for all your help!!

Charlie, where does the new large red wire go to. does this got to the battery? if it does whe wires on the large terminals are incorrect. the battery side should have all the wires except the wire to the starter and the wire from the key switch( only slips onto small terminal). this would cause your truck to seem like there is no power to it because there isn't. move the wire to the correct terminals and you should be good to go.
