Gas prices... $1.39 regular
I don't know what's goin on here in south Texas but the gas prices are really low right now... mostly only on regular. I filled up at $1.45 but all day today i been seeing lines of cars at gas stations and that gas has been as low as $1.39 for regular. Weird thing is mid grade and premium are usually still $1.79/$1.89. Anyone having these types of gas wars going on in your neck of the woods?

they're down to $1.49 for the mid-grade here in NJ, and it wasn't even a sale. I go out of my way to find the Wawa's around here.

I am from Canada and visit all the time. The $4.00/gal you are talking about is not a fair comparison. I was in Canada this past weekend and paid 89c/liter , or about $90 CDN to fill up. I the US the same fillup at $1.99/gal (current price in Connecticut) I pay about $60. The current exchange is about 1.30 CDN/1 US. $60 USD = $78 CDN or about $12 CDN more for around 25 gallons. 50c more a gallon, not $2 more a gallon.
I have this discussion all the time with my family.
