bad o2 sencors

bad o2 sencors
my engine light just came on so i scanned it with the ford scan tool and got a po430 cleared code, was good for about 2 days but now its back talked to a guy and he said its either my o2 censors or my converter any suggestions

Last time I crawled under the truck, I thought I saw two, one in the each Converter housing. Converters going out is a semi-rare event. Well, though some are fualty. There has a been a issue of rattling cats lately....Cameron

i have a 01 sports track... i know for a fact that there are 3 o2 sencers on it... hads are still dirty from changing them out.... on the drivers side almost directly under the seat on the exhaust pipe is fuel bank 3 that is one of the o2 sencers... on the passanger side is the other 2... one is about to the front of the passenger seat on the exhaust pipe and the other is to the back side of the front passanger seat one the exhaust pipe..had to have the guys at auto zone show me.. hope this helps ya out... im sure it cant be much different from mine

there are four o2 sensors. a pre-catalitic converter sensor right after the exhaust manifold, and a sensor right after the converter. same thing on both passenger and driver side. if your have never changed the o2's before you might wanna go ahead and change them all depending on how much mileage you have. sometimes you can get a nice boost in your gas mileage

hi, the o2 sensors are difficult to find in the uk and i may have to fit aftermarket sensors. what type are they and can i get it wrong.

I believe afternarket replacement sensors are readily available.
I had to do some looking for one for my wife's car.
I think you should find quite a few options using Google.
And yes, to confirm there are 4 sensors total.
