XL, I like the chrome surround with the black bars, other than that not much difference in the different models

Stx was the best for my budget, but I really like the FX4.

XLT gets my vote. I like the power features but also need the 8' foot bed and to my knowledge, you can only get an 8' bed on the XL or XLT.

I got the FX4... one color... so... Dark Shadow Gray. The solid color Lariat comes with the 'gold' color grill and it just does not fit... it is definately made to get the truck in a two tons unless you take it gold of course.

XLT even though I own the Lariat. Driving and feature wise the Lariat wins.

XLT Scab with cloth, bench seats looks the best by far in my opinion!

I think the Lariat's look nice in their way but have a bit more of the "soccer mom/grocery getter" overall effect to them. Explorers with a tail. I had leather and all that jazz in my sportster but I personally don't like too much comfort/the look in a TRUCK although from a practical standpoint it has much to offer. Just my opinion.

The XLT has just the right looks and features to have not "softened" it out too much but still have a nice dash, power windows etc.

Flame on!

The FX4 is what I might have gotten were I a young 20's guy, the XL, STX if money was a factor.

I love the way the FX4 looks (especially with the optional 18'' wheels) but my budget told me that the XLT was what I could afford, but I still love my truck! Lariats are nice looking but I hate the fake wood grain on the dash.

I could have bought any of them up to $30,000 but to me the STX is the only real truck if you know what I mean. If I wanted plush, softy comfort I'll buy a luxury car. Leather heated seats, power everything, etc. in a truck is like **** on a bull.

XLT SCab 4.6L V8 2wd... I wasn't shopping for a vehicle when I saw this truck. All other styles are REALLY nice but for what I use it for and the price, I don't think I could go wrong. I love the way it looks too.

I liked the STX too but why they don't offer the 5.4 in it I'll never know so I went against my principles and got the XLT with the power windows and locks and carpet, but at least I got a tach!

Ok....now I've heard just about enough bashing of the lariat.

A grocery getter? **** on a bull!...Explorers with a tail!!!!!!!!!!

I'm hurt...truly I am....

Argghh....my baby looks tough, works tough, and plays Spongebob in the back to keep the kiddies quiet.

The best of both worlds...
