Thumbs up Nerf Bars

Howdy Forum..

Wheres a good place to buy nerf bars for an 04 supercrew?
Im in the Fort Worth/Mid cities area. I need some side molding too, but I understand they dont make it for the model. Had my truck for 2 weeks when a young teeny bopper caused 400 worth of damage to my truck with her car door. The good news is, she got caught and I got paid. I understand the nerf bars will help with the careless people. Thanks.....Steve

I bought mine today from Access Connect. Got the Westin Signature series black powder coated for $209.00 (super cab), the chromes are $309. That's the cheapest I've seen, plus you get free shipping. Locally those same bars run around $350 for the black and $479 for chrome.

I got my black Westin Signature step bars on ebay from a Ford dealership. I paid $200 (free S&H, no tax). Contact this ebay seller if you're interested.

Hey Gordo, you gave me that same referral. I called him yesterday and he's backordered on them for weeks. I am getting my bull bar from him though, he has the best price on that.

Nerd bars, is what I would call them. 250 bucks I wouldn't have spent for the black plastic ones that came on my lariat. They just irritate me getting in and out of the truck and I'm probably going to take them off and store them. But for the guys with short legs...

Personally, I dont need them for myself. The wife is the one who needs them....not to mention they do help with keeping doors off your truck.

I also ordered my nerf bars (03 F150) from Accessconnect. I bought the chrome over stainless steel Platinum series. Real good lookers, guaranteed for life. Think I paid about $369 or somewhere around there. I can see where the bars took a few hits and kept doors from hiting my paint.

Skeeter,

If you're wanting to buy locally, not sure how far you're from Arlington but I've ordered a few parts from Glacier Window Tinting for my father's 02 F150. He likes the place and the people there. Here's their info.
