I posted my question in the transmission room and havent got a responce. Was hopeing someone in here could shed some light on my question. And in a real hurry so I can tackle the job this weekend. Here is what I had posted:

I have a 93 F-150 with the 302, 101K miles. The other day I went and got in the truck and backed out of the drive way and drove it to town (about 10 miles). I pulled up in the parking lot and took a movie back and got right back in the truck. No reverse, but just a few min's ago I backed out of the drive way with no trouble. Drove it home and changed the filter and fluid wich did not look bad. No parts in pan. Filled it back up and cranked it up and it worked fine since it was cold. Drove it around the block and came back home and did not want to reverse. But this time it would go back but had to rev motor up to get it to move. All forward gears are working with no trouble. This is out of the blue no warning. Does this sould like something simple or do I need a rebuild? If I need to rebuild I was pricing trannys from the local auto parts store and they have them for $750. Does this sound about right?
