Hi There Guys. I need some tips on how to reprogram the MAF sensor when I go to a #24 fuel injectors. Can anyone help me!!! What type of equipment is needed to perform the function? I've got a fairly good supplied garage and should have what it takes. Do you just readjust the amount of volts which it draws... I'm just guessing. Please Help!!!!
In all honesty, I would get a chip to change the injector constant in the computer. I had a bad experience with a recalibrated air meter (lots of pinging, and I emphasize lots). However, if you don't want to go that route, you could try getting a MAF calibrator or remote optimizer from Pro-M racing (www.pro-flow.com). You can adjust for injector size changes and tinker with the idle voltage to get a steady idle.
