Ok, I noticed a fuel leak from an unknown part (UP) yesterday. Hopefully someone can identify what it is and what it does. BTW, my truck is an 81 F250 extended cab.
The UP is attached to the driver-side inside frame, just behind the front of the bed. It has two incoming gas lines and one outgoing line. The incoming lines appear to come from the gas tanks. There is so much gunk under the truck that I can't tell what exactly is leaking at the moment, but I am sure it is coming from this area.
My tech guide has not provided any clues and I am getting this headache everytime I work on the truck . Any clues everyone?
That would be the tank selector valve, could be the valve, the lines, the rubber hose that connects the lines. Look for the clean spot, it will be better at telling you where the leak is
