94 four banger?
Im thinking of buying a 94 ranger 2 wheel drive 4 cyl five speed, the engine has a dead cyl and supposidly a coil pack was changed and it didn't fix it I was just wondering if there are any reoccuring problems that someone might know about any help would be good also is there anything else on the truck that I need to check out before I would purchase it thank you very much

Check your wires to make sure the charge is getting to the plug. It's probably either a connection or, if the wires have never been changed, a bad wire. Pull the plugs to make sure they are in good condition. If all that checks out OK, then you have to look internally to the engine (check cylinder compression, valvetrain, etc.). Good luck.
