vibration at 65 mph

ITs a '91 explorer that has a vibration in the front when im in the range of 63 - 67 mph. if i go faster it goes away, if i go slower, it goes away. i have new tires on there and the tires are balanced just fine. i know it needs an alignment, could that be it? plus my steering wheel is turned right 10 - 15 degrees when im going straight, whats the deal with that? that happened when i got the new tires. if its not the fact it needs an alignment, what else could i check? thanks!

I assume the vibration was present before the new tires ? Does it have aluminum rims ? The alignment tech can center the steering wheel when he adjusts the Toe portion of the alignment .

My 94 had the same problem and it looks like a few things were causing it.
I had the tires rebalanced
I changed the front wheel bearings and had the rotors cut. (112K miles)
Front end alignment.
Vibration gone.

I had the front end alignment done. told the mechanic there and he said that the vibration usually comes from the rear wheels, and it turns out, the rear wheels both were out of balance by atleast an ounce each. i drove the car home, and still had the vibration. they however did not check the two front wheels where the vibration is coming from. i will have to take it back in and have them re-balance the two front wheels because i have a feeling if the two rear wheels are out of balance, that the two front are out of balance too, causing this vibration when the wheels are spinning at the correct speed to make then vibrate some. i will let u know the results of this balacing soon.
