data tag info from Ford....
i saw a link here a bit ago about submitting your VIN and they could tell you lotta info...I got mine from Ford...all it was was a door tag breakdown....nothing like build sheet info, etc....anyone know anything about that kind of info as to where I could get copies of the original stuff at...

Tyhanks Eric....The thread for ya all is in the 73-9 forum....some guys have gotten super detailed info ....Gonna call tomorrow and see what comes of it....I did get the hand signed letter though....but all I got thus far was door tag decipher....no build sheet type info....

UPDATE.... I called Ford today(800 number from website) and went thru a short automated list and got a fella pretty quick....Told him the VINS and what all I wanted as to build sheet, etc....He said it would take some time...took my name etc and made a file for me as to my 65's.
Was real courteous and fast on the typing....noted my requests and said will take some time....no biggy as I imagine the building(s) where this stuff is is MONTROUS!!!!
So, well see what happens....Hope its cool cause according to the dealer album I got(a 66 one) the C/C pkg was side trim,badging and chrome grille.....mine has painted one....its original as I know full history as to ownership of it....I think it was a special order even though doog tag doesnt say so...radio delete, C/S pkg....I think my beast was one of the early ones actually though it was a late 65 build(July)....we'll see though....
