I ordered a 2005 when the order banks first opened up. My truck has been produced since the fourth week of July but has not shipped from the factory yet.
My dealer is having a hard time getting any reliable information on what the hold up is at the factory. I have heard rumors about rail car a shortage but who knows.
Be patient- if it didn't get built till late in the week, then the carrier probably didn't get it till early last week, and this is only Monday. It takes at least 10 days- 2weeks for a truck to get delivered to the dealer. Besides, Texas is a BIIIIIIIIIIG state- y'alls takes even longer!!
I know what you are saying and I agree. It does take a little while to get down here.
I have talked to the transport company and they do not even have it assigned to a rail car yet. It just frustrates me that my truck has been built since Job1 on 7/19 but yet they can't ship it for whatever reason.
I get a new truck every year so I should not get so anxious but I am ready for it to get here so I can stop putting miles on my 03.
Once I know it has been put on a rail car, I will start smiling!!!
Wow... consider yourself very lucky. I ordered mine a little late 7/5 and have no status. The VOPC still says "clean and unscheduled. It has not been serialized at this time." I am getting really tire of hearing that same statement!
So... at least you now see a light at the end of the tunnel.
Benica in north of Concord Ca. truck is there but no way to get it to dealer, no transports avilable (wont let me pick up) until tomarrow or monday sucks I wanted it this weekend. I have been waiting since May, sold my old truck first week of june. Going through with draws
