Our dog doesn't always eat what she can get to, but she rubs herself all over it. She loves pickles, apple peels and orange peels...it's weird. Someone fed her a jalepeno once, and it wasn't the easiest thing to clean-up.
my friend has this stupid mutt that loved to lick me RIGHT in the mouth..i mean EVERY time this stupid thing seen me it would run over and lick me RIGHT in the mouth....my G/F thought it was "cute" i thought it was annoying...that is untill i walked in on it one day i the bathroom....oh i forgot to tell you they had a CAT TOO!! well apparently his favorite "snack food" was CAT POO!!!!! yea the dumb stupid mongrel liked to eat cat shizzz....then after sucking down oh i dunno 1/2 dozen "scooby snacks" it would run out and lick me RIGHT IN THE MOUTH!! yea needless to say i seen it eating the poo and puked on the spot......i will not go to their house unless its either muzzled or locked in a room.
My dog will eat cat doo-doo if she can get to the litter box. If we are hardup to buy pet food, I'll just buy cat food and leave the litter box out and the dog can enjoy.
Just kidding! ...Terry
My Lab/Irish Setter Homer eats bones. Not just chew on them but eat them! It worries me to think that if I make him angry, I could dissapear one night.
Onions are a definite no no for dogs. It damages their livers.
I used to have a black lab that ate everything, when he was young. He ate the stairs, linoleum, banisters, and drywall. He was locked up in my downstairs basement during the day when I wasn't home, and he ate through the door. That day he ate my waterbed, shredded my feather pillows, ate the wood handles off of the knives in the butcher block on the counter, and ate a whole box of childrens Tylenol. He eventually died of an epileptic attack when he was four. Must have been all of the stuff he ate through the years.
My IT's favorite thing to eat is used tissue paper, and cat 'cookies'. It's really fun trying to keep him from getting at these two things.
My Austrailian shepherd will eat more or less anything, but its out golden retriever pup that I have to scratch my head over. She has this nasty habit of holding onto something for dear life, and if we try and ****** it.....down the hatch it goes. Don't ask me why, but she loves downing LIVE chipmunks . She will chase them down and...well I wont get into it. Come to think of it, we had an old dane years ago that would chase down squirrels. She would finally catch up to them, and stand on their tails. We had many tail-less squirrels at my house when I was a kid.
Watch out for those dogs that eat everything! We had a cocker spaniel that ate part of a towel, and it plugged her intestines. The surgery was gunna cost like $1500, and she was old so we put her to sleep . We got a Rottwieler to replace her though. . I also had a cat the LOVED cantelope. Cats don't usually eat wierd stuff like dogs do. crazy stuff.
Not completely true, I had a cat that loved veggies. He would sit at my feet when I made salads eating lettuce, carrot shreds, celery, etc.
My dog isn't so bad compared to what you are all saying. He will eat any food that falls on the floor (or that the kids sneak to him when they think I am not looking), but nothing major.
Have a Lab/PitBull mix. (Scooby) Absolutely lovable dog. Big bark, no bite if ya know what I mean.
Any way this dog will eat anything. If it hits the floor, it's gone. Also enjoys a beer with me once in a while (Prefers Yuengling to Bud, paws down!) His favorite I believe is those "Cheese Puffs". He'll knock you over just to get to them.
Ol' Scoob got into the trash and ate the plastic wrap from ground meat. That wrap came out in one piece, and got stuck about half way. Of course it was my job to remove all of the warp. Sort of like starting the lawn mower!!
Scooby also loves turkey, but we DO NOT give him any. Turns his innards inside out. Again, my cleanup. Note to self; No turkey to the dog!!
