Need help

Hey folks. I posted here a while back about codes PO171 +174. Got a reply back about checking(cleaning) the MAF and EGR ports. Did that and didn't help. Autozone says the codes should mean O2 sensors. Well, they don't specify which sensors, the upstream or downstream.....Is there any way to determine which I should replace? BTW, I also checked for vacuum leaks and there are none; and could the Catalytic convertors be stopped up making the engine smother? Years ago I had a car that the cat went bad and the car would start, but wouldn't accelarate.................just curious....
