It's doable..just little tight..just a little time and patience goes a long way..however i did find that having a 3 inch body lift on mine maid things a lil easier.
Thanks everything is a little tight on B2 I bought it last fall and had to replace the valve cover gasket on the passengers side no room to work at all This is my second bronco first one was a 1968 I bought in 1975 never should of got rid of it
Did the net gasket STOP the leak? Both mine have a very small leak. I notice the current gaskets are cork. I assume rubber is better. I'm about to give it a try when I return from vacation next week. Mine is a 89 2.9FI with 88k miles. I think I may have a little too much blowby in the crankcase. I installed a new pcv valve to no avail. I also have a small leak on the rear main but I can live with that if it stays as slow as it is. I'mresearching an upgrade to a 302 v8. If that gets too messy I will rebuild a 2.9 and trade it out in the next 6 months or so.
I used felpro perma dry plus they are expensive but you will only have to do the job once I think I paid about 40 bucks for a pair I still have the drivers side to do it wasn't leaking that bad so I put it off I guess the 2.9's are prone to leaking hope this helps
