bore x stroke

hey guys,

I know the 351w is about 4" x 3.5" (bore x stroke, that is) but I was wondering, is the 351c the same? Or is it slightly more oversquare?

but the 352 FordEdsel is HUGGGGE and heavy
the 351 W is most likely made in canada not that i have a problem with the canadians just an americian ford thing even tho i recintly found reference to SOME 5.0s made in the lima plant
the 351c/351m are the same family/design with differences
the 351c WAS a non-emissions engine (originally) made for performance later phased out in favor of putting canadians to work and emissions problems
the 351m was a stop gap destroked (which can be restroked to) 400 because ford figured out winsor/essex plant was not capable to keep up with demand
why am i explaining this look it up

Several million 351Ws were cast at the Cleveland Foundry (and assembled in one of the two Cleveland engine plants) up until it was discontinued at the end of 1997. In fact, the Cleveland foundry probably cast more 351W blocks than it did 351C and 351M/400 blocks.

Oh yeah, the Cleveland foundry also cast a lot of 302/5.0 blocks.
