I have a '94 Explorer and I just went out to leave and noticed a steady coolant leak at the rear of the engine by where the starter is mounted. This leak is NOT in the front and travelling to a low spot at the rear. It appears to be coming right from the engine. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!

If you have eliminated a leaking heater hose then I would suspect a intake manifold gasket or a freeze plug.

 

thanks for the info. Can you elaborate on either of these? Quick fixes/high mechanic bills, etc. ???
