05 Superduty Dash
Test drove a 05 superduty today. (05 lariet 250 SC SB 4x4) Love the truck but have one question about the new dash. This truck had leather tan interior with woodgrain on the doors but NO woodgrain on the dash. Just plain black dash. Looked very cheap without the woodgrain. I went back and looked at every picture I can find and all lariets have a woodgrain dash with black trim ring. The dealer only had one 05 so nothing else to compare it to. Was this truck missing it or is it a seperate order item? Thanks

The wood on the dash only comes with the Lariat Luxury package. I'm surprised you found one without it, because Ford has been telling us that they plan on building nearly every Lariat with the Luxury package. I do think the wood is a big improvement over last year's; much more realistic looking.
