I was told by my local garage that Reese doesn't make a hitch receiver for the 91 Explorer yet I have seen Explorers with receivers hanging underneath. Are these Ford receivers or some other company's toys. If they are made by another company, are they any good? I have ALWAYS used Reese in the past (Dad always told me it was the one and only) and am not really familiar with any other brands.

Try their web site, I am sure they make a hitch for your vehicle. If not Draw-Tite does.

'91 hitch receiver

I have the Reese hidden hitch on my '91 XLT. Reese part number 37041. Took it right off the label on the unit.
