No, different pedestal. I think the 04 might even have a different intake manifold. The FICMs are different on the 04. So I wonder if the PCM is programmed different for the turbo with the additional vanes.

And don't the 04's have a resonator in the downpipe ?

the 03's do....the quieter 04's dont need it

AH... knew one of them did

then mine DID --- that's why it's such a "whiner" now with the turbo back !!!

04 motor --- the 04 truck with the 03 motor is the same motor.... I guess

Correct. Motors made after Sept 30, 03 are 04 motors.

PSD 60L FX4, go check out http://www.flatratetech.com/6literpo...04_updates.htm for the differences. I think it would be something that could be done, but a lot of work. Why would one want to go from an 03 to an 04?
