Talking truck year

well I have been poking around my new truck. The body metal is decent with some rust holes no biggie.
the moter has two pistons welded in with rust, the are in there tight I think I have to get a bigger hammer to get them loose.
funny thing though I can't find no serial # any were.
I know the model# 21-3241
any ideas on the year?

I have a couple of picks in my gallery of my new truck
I don't think it is in the 30s
more like mid 40s
I will try to clean off the bell housing today

The one with the dual rear drive? Typically 42, 45, 46 or 47. US vin would be something like 699T-123456 for a '46 V8 or 1GT-123456 for a six cyl. Canada's vins are usually different.

I saw that but got confused at first, 'cause your album says 48F1 and that truck is neither 48 nor F1 That's a big truck!

If not on the bellhousing, then the frame rail on the driver's side. Stamped, but not very deeply, so some scraping and scrubbing maybe needed. Also, the bellhousing is not the most reliable place to check, a trans is an easily replaced part, and very few people prob had the foresight to restamp the VIN. Of all the trucks I've had, only one has it's original stamped bellhousing, in fact, one doesn't even have a VIN stamped (service replacement trans), belhousing is easiest, but to really confirm, cross check with frame stamping. Also, it could be a '44, very limited production, only in the 158" wheelbase.
