also found a 2004 F-150 SuperCrew a/c, auto, 4.6L V8, power windows/locks, cruise control, tilt steering wheel, auto headlight control, 17" aluminum wheels in local newspaper ad for $22985 again i dont know if that has the rebate included or not. if the 2 trucks are the same truck i believe i will take the lower priced ad and go to my closet dealer (where i buy all my trucks) and see if they can match that price.

Personally I define a good price as invoice and a great price as below invoice before any sort of rebates. To find the invoice price build the truck in question on a site like edmunds.com, or the site recomended by 1956MarkII (can't remember it but its in a recent post by him in another recent thread) and see what your price is compared to that. If you are located anywhere near where driving to western NY is realisitc print out the FTE purchase program details and bring them with you, tell them that they have to come close to that or match it for you to buy from them. Even if you don't want to drive to get it they don't know that and it is a legitimate offer. If you would be willing to go to western NY to get your truck, see what Jeff (1956MarkII) and Van Bortel Ford can do for you, I can recomend the dealership from experience and Jeff's reputation here as a great guy to buy from is well earned. Good luck with the truck shopping, and beware the ads in newspapers, sometimes they advertise a 04 that sounds too good to be true, and it is b/c its a heritage model, not the new style.

no it specifically says 2004 supercrew NEW BODY STYLE and next to that ad is the heritage model for $13000. dealer just emailed me back saying that if i were to finacne through ford motor there is a $3500 rebate not $3000 which is better.

i found out that the newspaper ad for the F150 for 22k includes the discount from the dealer and the rebates available. the list price they have is 30k. so they took off 8k off msrp. i called today and it is the XLT F150 new body style for 22k which is the lowest price i have seen yet.
