Unusual Idle

I was woundering if anybody could help me? I have an 87 F-250 with a 302. Here lately when I let off the gas or push in the clutch to shift. My idle doesn't change or it increases. Somteims getting as high as 2000 rpm. also at times it will go from 800 to 1300 and just go back and forth. I replaced the TPS and cleaned up the throttle assembly with now results. any advice is apreciated. Thanks.

clean out the idler motor?

Clean or replace the IAC it's attached to the side of the throttle body.

Check for anythign bent, and replace them, and also look for any notches or bends in the throttle cable that could cause it from returning to its idle speed.
