Pull the seats out and use the old seat mounts if you have to or drill new holes or there might be holes already there. Either way you can get the seats in.
Sorry, just got back from a fishing trip up north. It's pretty ratty...but you are more than welcome to it once I figure out if I am even able to bolt captains chairs up to it.
Hi everyone... I'm new here, so please excuse my innocent and probably dumb question... I'm learning.
I've got a 1987 F250 XLT Lariat 4x4 Diesel. the previous original owner put in a Banks Sidewinder Turbo. It has two Captains seats in the front, and a center console. The back bench is OEM, as are the pretty worn out front Captain's seats.
I'd like to take out the Front Seats & Center Console and put in a 40/20/40 folding Bench... or some split but bench like configuration.
What Benches (and their years) would fit? Will I need a new seat/bench bracket? What year? I plan on painting this Silver/Black truck Red/White. This is a project truck... so to say. I then plan on cleaning the carpet and taking the truck to a a Boat Seat/Canvas guy to put on Red Vinyle Marine Grade seats. However, I first need to know what bench will work?
So far, I've replaced the front brakes, rear brakes, the ABS, the whole A/C, and put on a Tommy Gate Lift. In a couple of years, once it's an antique, I may do additional mods, but that's it for now.
I live in Miami, so there are several great U-Picks out here. Please steer me in the right direction.
