When I was working I was a designer for ford so if I could do it anybody can. Just take your time and if you have to make more then one before you get it right thats just called practice. I think there is a picture of that area in my gallery.
Ditto on wanting a patch panel. I'm planning on a lot of metalwork, but making this compound shape panel looks to be one of the toughest parts of my customization ideas. Any source info would be appreciated.
I wouldn't say that.. I haven't done anything like this before. I did bodywork at a friends dad's shop for a summer when I was 17 (now 35 years ago). I was a mechanic for VW when I was 20-23. Have helped my son, lower and customize his first car, 66 Chevy pickup, but the prior owner did the bodywork, we just did all the running gear and cool chrome stuff.
Thats actually what made me pick the 55 F100, remembering that I liked the mechanic phase, and looking for a total project. Been sidetracked a lot with the kids cars.
