Hi guys,
Not sure if this is the right place to look. I have a 1967 lincoln powered by a 462. I am just getting into non oem stuff. I want to change the power in my Lincoln. I was thinking of trying to find a wrecked 350 with a v10 and pull motor and tranny and put into my Linc. Am I looking at a mountain of a project?, Would I be better just building a 460? I was thinking the v10 would be cool just cause u dont see it . I would imagine it will be a nightmare cause of the wiring harness cause of all the shunts and by passes of sensors. The car is an early 67 so it has a 462 in it and is a pain to do anything to it since it is such a short run motor. I saw a ford pickup that someone had put a linc zeypher front inend on , and it was powered by Jag v12 with duel webers all the way and they ran the exaust out the sides. Shrug any help would be great
If you like challenges, have at it. Better be ready to lots of electrical work though.
AMEN, be sure you take the entire wiring harness from the truck take the drive shaft the exhaust, the fuel pumps, anything and everything you can get off of it get it...you WILL need it good luck with it man i wanna see it when its done ill bet that thing is bad a$$
x2c motorsports is making carb intakes for modulars, making one for a v10 would not be that much more work, it would be a sheetmatal unit, but would look insane!
they also are making a distributor for it, the 4.6-5.4 that is, but again, they could likely make a v10 unit for a little extra incentive $$$
the idea is to use a modular, without any computer controls, just like the good ole days..
check www.car-part.com for a used up v10.....there are ALOT available.

Now that is something I'd be extremely interested in (4.6)!!!!!!! Do they make an adaptor so you can bolt up a C6, C4 & AOD trannies too?
Checked their site - that intake is for 600+ hp applications!!! Not exactly within the range of my pocket book. Wish they had a more streetable version. I was looking foe something more along the line of replacing an old 289 in a 67 Mustang with a carbed 4.6.
