dist wiring

I removed the 1967 289
(points) motor in favor of a D4A6-6015-AA-10 351W..I take it by what info on this # its from a 74 Galaxie..my question is now that the motor is in my 67 car..how do I go about hooking up the electronic dist to get this to start?..thanks!

the easiest way would be to get a 69 to 74 point dist,from a 351w.

..Than ks 312 for the reply..I was going to go that route as it seems the less hardest way and I probably will do that..then today I found a ford haynes manual I bought when I bought an old police car and it has a complete wiring diagram of the early Duraspark two ig system..thanks again!

Distributor Wiring

The duraspark ignition is extremely simple to wire if you're familliar with electrical systems. It's easy, there's 2 plugs on the control module, one with 4 wires, and one with 2. You need to hook the 2 wires to switched 12V power. Three of the other wires go to the distributor, the green wire from the box goes to the "-" side of the coil and you need a switched 12V to the positive side of the coil. You can just run the power to the coil and module from the same source to save some time. Wired this way it should run.
