2004 a/c question
hi guys, my a/c seems to be acting up a little. I thought I read a post concerning the evap icing up on extended drives or humid days..there was also a fix for this, would someone refresh my memory on this so I can head to the dealer. I attempted a search for this, but maybe I didn't look in the right spot....thanks for your help.

I was curious about this also. I drove from Jax to Atlanta this past weekend and I noticed that fan speed was on high, but it was not blowing full blast coming through the vents. The A/C would correct itself only when I turned it off for a few seconds and turned it back on. About an hour later I had to do the same thing again.

I had the same problem, I drove from Chicago to Memphis and then to Cleveland. It was very fustrating to not have the air working like it should. I will eventually take my 04 in to have the work done.
I like doing these.. it takes about 30-45 minutes and Ford pays 1.9 hours... come on down! LOL
