Ok, i have a 87 bronco with RABS.
The other day the rear line failed (rust hole) replaced rear line, blead brakes in order- RR, LR, then RABS. Now it seams like i have little to no rear brakes?!?!?!
i could always lock rear tires up. now if i realy get on them, the front lock up.
the pedel is still softer than before, but sometimes it seems to get firmer. i did get the rear to lock up one time in some shale.
Help
I can see maybe bleeding it if you replaced it, but I wouldn't bleed it if you haven't touched it. You probably re-introduced air into the system bleeding the module.
If you really want to bleed it, do it before you do the rear brakes, as the module is upstream from the wheel cylinders.
good old fashion bleeding by your self,
take a bottle plastic , fill 1/2 full with brake fluid.
take a hose put on bleeder, other end in bottle , making sure its in the fluid.
now with bleeder open , just pump brakes ,
no one else is needed.
making sure master cyclinder is full , and cover is on.
close bleeder, move on to next wheel cylinder.
